Transforming Lives, One Mother and Child at a Time

About Us

MOCHO (MotherChild Health Organization) is a community-based charity - registered by the Ministry of Women, Youths and Social Gender since 2015 - committed to reducing maternal and child mortality rates by promoting equitable healthcare, and advocating for policies that support families in vulnerable communities within the rural areas of Homa Bay, Kenya.

We are dedicated to addressing rising matters that affect women, youths and children physically, socially, economically and emotionally through imparting knowledge and awareness creation to the community with emphasis on antenatal care, safe child delivery, postnatal mother and child care, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, PMTCT (prevention of mother to child transmission), cervical cancer and Malaria.
